Global Managing Editor, Explore Disney+

I am currently the managing editor for Explore Disney+, globally. Explore Disney+ is the source of truth for everything you can experience in the Disney ecosphere, including: insider info, streaming recommendations, free Disney perks, live events, new Disney+ features, and deep dives into the characters and stories you love.  Sports, music, animation, Super Heroes, throwbacks, new movies, popular series, documentaries, park rides, parades, podcasts, awards, red carpets, clips, trailers, and more. If you need help deciding what to watch next, or just want to dig into the magical worlds of Disney, we’ve got you covered.

Our goal is to drive traffic to Disney+, increase subscriptions to Disney+, increase visitors’ time on Disney+, and own key search terms. We are currently producing daily content and will shaping the strategy to move from a startup environment to a full-fledged business unit.

I am establishing the global brand voice, editorial direction, style guidelines, production workflows and systems for seamless collaboration worldwide. Our team consists of a project manager, creative producer, copywriter, agency partner, studios liaison, and dotted lines all across the Walt Disney Company around the world, often resulting in regular meetings with 30 to 100+ attendees sharing information and discussing next steps and action items.

We have already soft-launched in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States. Plans to hard launch and expand to further markets are scheduled for the coming weeks, months, and years.
